On May 10, 2023, Ms. Natalia Gavrilita will teach at Mandeville. Natalia served as Prime Minister of Moldova until February 23, 2023. During her term, Moldova turned its gaze towards Europe and the EU in particular. Ms Natalia strengthened democracy and the rule of law on the basis of which Moldova was granted the status of a candidate member of the EU. The war in Ukraine has also increased Russia’s military and state-undermining activities in Moldova. The country has therefore entered a spiral of economic malaise. Mrs. Gavrilita comes to tell the story of Moldova.
