On Thursday 28 November 2024, Mandeville Academy is organising an Open Evening for the 2025-2026 academic year. Are you a (U)HB’er? No idea what kind of life you want to lead? No idea what kind of career you want to follow? No idea whether someone is waiting for your thinking capacity? Do you fancy being intensively challenged intellectually and personally for a year? Does studying with ‘peers’ at the highest level and living together in a student house seem interesting to you? Do you want to build a good network that will benefit you throughout your life/career? Then Mandeville might be something for you!
During the Open Evening you will get to know a year of studying and living at Mandeville Academy. You will meet students, alumni, teachers and staff. We will tell you everything about the curriculum and what we can do for your future. You can wander through the building and take it all in. It is not for nothing that Mandeville is called ‘Little Hogwarts’.
At Mandeville you will get a busy year with many lectures, assignments, an introduction week abroad, (company) visits and maybe even a parachute jump. We therefore ask quite a lot of you, but you will also get something in return. For example, Nyenrode University recently admitted an alumnus to the master’s program in which the Mandeville diploma was considered equivalent to a bachelor’s program. Mandeville is not accredited, but it illustrates that you will receive a solid foundation if you are motivated.
At Mandeville, (inter)national top lecturers from (large) organizations and universities teach. Think for example of prof.dr. Sam Richards and dr. Laurie Mulvey (PennState), prof.dr. James Doty (Stanford), Azmat Khan (Pulitzer Prize winner 2022, New York Times), prof.dr. Guido Imbens (Nobel Prize winner Economics 2021), prof.dr. Remco Breuker, prof.dr. Lex Hoogduin and various C-levels (directors) of companies such as Talpa, SHELL, Microsoft, ASML etc. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, November 29, 2024, from 7:00 PM.
